South Broadway Baptist Church is a dynamic body of believers in Jesus Christ, associated with the American Baptist Churches, USA.

 We are located at 1322 South Broadway, Pittsburg, Kansas. 

 Our services are a mix of traditional and contemporary in worship, with a powerful prayer service, and excellent preaching. 

We are a church on a mission to:

Magnify and celebrate God through Worship,

Multiply Christ's Church through evangelism, and

Modify lives through

• Fellowship with believers,
• Ministry to others, and
• Discipling all to maturity in Christ

Here is a listing of some of the ministries we offer:

Children’s Worship – Following the giving of the offering the children, ages 3 yrs. through 5th grade will be led out of the sanctuary and over to the Educations Building for a time of worship with music, stories, crafts, and play designed for them. Parents pick up their children after worship.

Nursery – The church provides a nursery for the care of our children during church programs. Nursery attendants are trained and submit to a background check before being hired. The nursery is located in the Education Building

SHOC - Students High On Christ meet Sundays at 4:00 p.m.  They worship. They play. They care for one another.  Talk with Libby Kilmer for more information.

Adult Bible study -  occurs each week on Wednesday at 7:00 pm, led by Pastor Dan Moss and is open to all.

Sunnysiders – Folks on the “sunny side” of life (over 55 yrs.) meet monthly for the sharing of fellowship and conversation. Periodically the Sunnysiders take trips and do extra special activities
